From October through November, the Dogelon Mars community has reached major milestones, announced & received accolades from major players in the crypto space. In this medium post, we hope to recap the latest highlights by sharing recent developments and goals accomplished. This is the first installment of a series we hope to continue in the form of a weekly & monthly roundup of announcements.

Dogelon Mars Community Donates to Winners of Methuselah Foundation Vascular Tissue Challenge

The Dogelon Mars community’s charitable donation to Methuselah Foundation helped allow for 250k in prizes to teams working on sustaining human tissue.

In collaboration with the international space station and Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, the first-place team will also have the opportunity to advance their research aboard the International Space Station.

Team Winston led by Dr. James Yuu & Dr. Anthony Atala, MD (winners of the Vascular Tissue Challenge) announced by NASA led the first scientific teams to engineer and sustain thick functioning human tissue in a lab.

The Challenge, conceived by Methuselah Foundation, was conducted to increase the pace of bioengineering innovations to benefit humans on Earth and future space explorers. This sort of testing must be done to lay the foundation for humans to safely practice long-term space excursions.

Dogelon Mars won first place in a competition to get listed on OKEx & is now trading with an ELON/USDT pair.

Dogelon Mars $ELON Live on Polygon Network

The ELON token is now available on the Polygon network.

In response to community feedback from users frustrated with sometimes prohibitively-high gas fees on the Ethereum network, Dogelon Mars made contact with the Polygon (MATIC) team and now $ELON is available on both ETH and MATIC chains.

Polygon is the most popular of Ethereum layer two scaling solutions for interoperability between EVM-compatible chains. As of time of writing, the $ELON on Polygon has over 3000 unique holders. Anyone may access the official Polygon contract address here.

$ELON Staking on QuickSwap:

$ELON staking became available on Polygon’s MATIC layer 2 chain.

Polygon’s QuickSwap AMM launched a liquidity mining program featuring Dogelon Mars and Ethereum. Earn swap fees & dQUICK in the QuickSwap LP farm. At time of writing, the ELON/ETH QuickSwap pool has over $1,500,000 worth of total deposits. The link for the pool can be found here.

Along with the incentives mentioned above, $1,000,000 in $ELON was made available to participants farming dQUICK on QuickSwap.

Dogelon Mars Breaks 100,000 Holders Milestone

The number of distinct Dogelon holders surpasses 100,000. On Halloween night, Dogelon Mars’ unique holders (as counted by popular block explorer Etherscan) exceeded 100k.

For context and an example of how fast holders are growing, the number of holders exceeded that of the DeFi lending protocol Aave on Halloween.

At the time of writing, $ELON has >112,000 holders on Ethereum and >3,000 holders on Polygon while Aave remains with <102,000.
